- A new outbound entry ramp at Police Road connecting to the freeway.
- A dedicated road linking Jacksons Road outbound ramps directly to EastLink.
- Installation of smart road technology, expanding the lane-use management system from the South Gippsland Freeway to the Beaconsfield interchange.
- Upgrading the Beaconsfield interchange to a diamond interchange, adding an inbound exit ramp and an outbound entry ramp.
- Opening the new O’Shea Road extension between Soldiers Road and Princes Freeway.
- Creating a shared walking and cycling path along O’Shea Road from Clyde Road, Berwick, to the Princes Highway, Beaconsfield.
