Founder and Managing Director
Loai is the Founder and Managing Director at Kubri. Since 2003, Loai has worked on major multi-billion dollar infrastructure projects in Australia and overseas.
He has managed numerous projects from initiation, tender, design, delivery and handover for road, rail, bridge, bulk earthworks, utility infrastructure, heavy civil structures and major package management.
In addition to being responsible for the overall success of these projects, Loai’s skills include project strategies and planning, budget controls, establishment of indirect operations, managing project risk and maximising opportunities, and management of client expectations and relations.
Loai holds a Bachelor’s Degree (Hons) in Civil Engineering. He is a Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland, a Chartered Professional Engineer and Member of the Institute of Engineers Australia.
As an international citizen, Loai has lived in numerous cities in the world. Since 2016, he and his family have made Melbourne their home.

The Kubri team comprises of more than 70 combined years of international and local experience. Our team has worked on some of the largest and most renowned projects. They are experts in steel structures, bridges, rail, roads, bulk earthworks and civil infrastructure construction.
The team has helped deliver:
- Western Roads Upgrade – project completion and handover
- Monash Freeway Upgrade 2 – construction methodology, planning and management of bridges, piling, ITS gantries, quality assurance, completion and handover
- Western Program Alliance – civil and infrastructure works
- Princes Highway East, Stage 3- construction methodology and procurement
- Westgate Tunnel Project – leading a team of engineers delivering both structures and civil packages; and quality control and assurance for segmental bridge precast segments.
